Print Deploy print queue fails to install

After clicking Install in Print Deploy Client's Add Printer pane, the print queue starts to install, but then fails with a message that it cannot connect with the printer. If you look at the Details, it will have error code 0x0000011b. This generally indicates that the computer is missing Windows Operating System patches that were needed following Microsoft's response to the Print Nightmare vulnerability.

Note: If you receive a or possibly 0x00000057 error, please create a ticket with your campus Support Services. This indicates a driver conflict. They may be pushing a different driver through some other management method (GPO, Log in script, baseline), which will need to be disabled.

Solution

Run Microsoft Updates and update Windows 10.
