How To Turn Off Zoom Whiteboard

What happens if you begin using the Whiteboard in a Zoom meeting, and then need to turn it off?

Solution

  • To close the current Whiteboard, whoever created it must click the red "Close Whiteboard" at the top of the screen.
    • It looks similar to the "Stop Screen Share" button when screen sharing.
  • Alternately, you can go down to the green "Share Screen" icon and choose a screen to share.
  • Sharing your screen will turn off the Whiteboard function, and it will not turn back on once screen share is stopped.
