• All plans, sub-plans, and faculty are assigned CIP codes.
• All assigned CIP codes are fully specified (6 digits).

Data Quality Audit

• CIP codes are reviewed annually ensuring that data quality specifications are met.
• CIP codes are reviewed with new (10-year) releases to CIP.
