  • Beginning with Spring 2022 admissions, students are coded into the FGEN group in the STDNT_GRPS table.
  • The UM_STUD_EXT_VW and UM_STUD_CENS_VW,  looks at the student group table.
  • If the student is in the FGEN group, the UM_FIRST_GEN field will have a "Y"

  • Due to the sensitive nature of First Generation data, all reports using the UM_FIRST_GEN flag or student group must receive approval (if not already approved).
