Managing UMS Power BI HUB SharePoint Library Access

Each department should have a Library Administrator (Owner) and an administrator responsible for adding users or changing user permissions on the UMS Power BI HUB SharePoint site.

Instructions 

Pre-requisites

  • The library administrator or owner of the library can change permissions.
  • The user needs at least "visitor" access to the UMS Power BI HUB page If the user needs access to the UMS Power BI HUB page, the library administrator should contact the Power BI administrator(s).
  • If a department needs to change its library administrator, please use this request form.

Grant Access

  1. Click on "User Libraries" in the left column. (The user libraries shown on the front page will NOT work.)

  2. Click on the ellipses for the library and click "Manage Access"

  3. Click "+" next to 'Direct Access" on the right column window.

  4. Enter the email address of the person or group you are adding. Choose the access type (Edit or View), and click "Grant Access". Note: If you check "Notify People", both user and you will get an email.
