A brief overview of account creation and logging into Zoom in a web browser for the UMS Student, Staff, and Faculty communities.

Instructions

  • Step 1 - Ensure that your UMS account is active and password is up to date (NOTE: You may need to go to https://maine.zoom.us/ and sign in with your UMS credentials to activate the account)

  • Step 2 - Navigate to your campus portal at mycampus.maine.edu

  • Step 3 - You may be asked to Log In, enter your UMS username and password here

  • Step 4 - Once at the Campus Portal, click on the Zoom icon on your launchpad, as shown here:

  • Step 5 - Creating an account or logging in:

    • If you already have an account, you will now be brought to your zoom meetings web dashboard.

    • If you do not have one, this process will first create your account and then bring you to your Zoom dashboard
