Detailed Information
Overview
- All Eligible Riders have full METRO access during normal METRO business hours
- If a card is denied entry to METRO, proceed to the Troubleshooting section at the bottom of the page

Eligible Riders - All eligible riders must have an active University Card
INFO: Rider eligibility is determined by the USM METRO Contract & the USM Vice Provost of Student Affairs

- Portland to West (To outside of Portland, Westbrook, and Gorham campus)
- Boarding: West bound bus shelter
- Portland to East (To The METRO Hub for connecting lines)

- In front of Abromson center & Parking Garage
Troubleshooting

Damaged Card
- Card may be damaged (common) or malfunctioning (rare), but this should result in a "No Read" not a denied message
- Cracks are easily found by apply strong pressure with your thumb, and running your thumb along the edges of the card
- Cracks can be extremely small, and hard to see without physical intervention
