How to Make an Out-of-State or International Call

How to place an out-of-state or international call from UMS phones.

Instructions

• To place your call to an out-of-state phone number from a UMS phone, dial the following in sequence:
  1. Start with dialing the prefix 81 or 91 depending on the campus dial out number,
  2. Followed by the country code,
  3. Then the number.
• To place your call to an international phone number from a UMS phone, dial the following in sequence:

1. Start with dialing the prefix 8011 or 9011 depending on the campus dial out number,
2. Followed by the country code,
3. Then the number.
