If you're experiencing issues or errors in Google Chrome, you may need to repair or reinstall the browser.
Instructions
Repair Chrome
- Click the Start button.
- Type "Control Panel."
- Open the Control Panel app.
- Under Programs, select "Uninstall a program."
- Click once on Google Chrome.
- Click the Repair button from the top banner.
If repairing Chrome does not resolve your issue, try reinstalling Chrome.
Reinstall Chrome
- Click the Start button.
- Type "Control Panel."
- Open the Control Panel app.
- Under Programs, select "Uninstall a program."
- Click once on Google Chrome.
- Click the Uninstall button from the top banner.
- After Chrome has been successfully uninstalled, Download Google Chrome (External Link)
- Download the installation file.
- If prompted, click Run or Save.
- If you choose Save, to start installation, either double-click the download or click Open file.
- If you're asked, "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device," click Yes.
- Start Chrome.
