You may receive an error when attempting to create a Zoom meeting through Google Calendar when using Google Chrome with the Zoom Scheduler extension if you select a sign on option other than Single Sign-On (SSO).

(*Important* This walkthrough requires either the Zoom Scheduler Browser Add-on to be first installed for your chosen browser, or your zoom account to have the following setting to be enabled: "Automatically sync Zoom calendar events information bi-directionally between Zoom and integrated calendars". For more on this permission setting, see the bottom of the article.)
- Open Google Calendar.
- Click the Create button, or click on the day and time you want to set a meeting.
- Select Event, or watch for the pop-up window on a single click. A double-click will bring you to another screen, which may not have the correct button.
- Click the Make it a Zoom Meeting button.
- When prompted to log in, select Sign in with SSO at the bottom of the sign in prompt.
- IMPORTANT: Do NOT select any other sign in option; only the SSO option will work.
- After logging in, create an event using the Make it a Zoom Meeting option
Enable Syncing with Integrated Calendars
- Log in on your Zoom account at maine.zoom.us
- Click on Settings
- Scroll down to "Calendar and Contacts", or use the search bar with the term "integrated calendars" to navigate to "Automatically sync Zoom calendar events information bi-directionally between Zoom and integrated calendars".
- Click the toggle to enable, and when prompted select and sign into Google Services using your maine.edu Google account.
