Brightspace Zoom Navbar Link - Error 500

If the Zoom navbar link in Brightspace generates and error 500 message please follow these steps to resolve it.

This article explains how to fix an error when selecting Zoom from the Brightspace Tools menu. This fix is in place until a permanent solution is in place.

Solution

 

1. Select Content from the Brightspace menu and open or create a new content area. 
2. Within the content area select External Learning Tools from the Existing Activities menu. 
3. In the Add Activity menu, scroll down and select Zoom. 
4. You should now see Zoom listed in that content area.  Click the Zoom link to access your account.
