How to Find Your Zoom Host Key

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal:
   • University of Maine System students, faculty, and staff: https://maine.zoom.us/profile
   • Non-University of Maine System users: https://zoom.us/signin
2. In the left navigation panel, select Profile.
3. Scroll down to the Meeting section.
4. Locate Host Key under the Meeting or Sign In section.
5. Select Show to view your current Host Key.
6. Optional: Select Edit to change the Host Key to a custom 6-digit number.

Notes

• The Host Key is used to claim host controls in a Zoom meeting when you are not signed in.
• You must be a licensed Zoom user (not a Basic/free user) to edit the Host Key.
