With the current contract, UMS no longer has the ability to grant all individuals with an association with UMS an A3 license that allows them the use of the desktop applications on personal devices.
Upon retirement, individuals can open a ticket with USIT requesting a Microsoft M365 A1 license. This allows them the use of Web based Office products, including, OneDrive. Microsoft changes their licensing options annually upon renewal, so this is subject to change every year.
INFO: Emeritus faculty from UMaine may submit a request for an A3 license directly to their affiliated college Dean's office for approval at an annual cost.
