Body
⚠️ WARNING: This article is intended for participants in the
MFA Modernization Pilot only. If you are not a pilot participant, the information in this article may not apply to you. Contact the
IT Service Desk if you have questions about your current sign-in experience.
This article walks you through signing in with a Temporary Access Pass (TAP) provided by the IT Service Desk. A TAP is a temporary code that lets you sign in when you cannot use your usual sign-in method, so you can set up a new one. These steps only apply if the IT Service Desk has already issued you a TAP. If you are locked out and do not have a pass, contact the IT Service Desk to request one.
WARNING: A TAP is valid for 60 minutes and can only be used once. Be sure to add a new sign-in method right away. If you do not add a new method before the pass expires, you risk being locked out of your account again.
