Drones: Add or Remove or Approved Pilot

UAS Pilot Approvals - Internal: Use this form to request UAS pilot approvals for UMS Employees operating under university authorization.
Do not use this form for external pilots or contractors.

UAS Pilot Approvals - External: Use this form to request UAS pilot approvals for visitors, contractors, or other non-UMS affiliates.
Additional documentation may be required.

Add/Remove Drones - This form is for UMS employees only who need to add or remove UMS-owned drones from the university’s insurance policy.
Personal or non-UMS-owned devices are not eligible.

All University Owned/Leased drones must be listed on the UMS Drone Liability Policy. Drones valued (payload included) valued over $10,000 must also enroll in physical damage coverage. Physical Damage coverage is optional for devices under $10,000.
