Thumbnail Management

Purpose

This procedure shows how to manage thumbnails for a Representation in Specto with multiple files attached.

1. If a record is not displaying the desired thumbnail in Primo, this can be managed in the Representation record.

2. Open the Digital Title record in the Alma MDE. View the inventory, View Related Data>View Inventory (CTRL+I).

3. Select Edit of the Representation you want to edit.

4. In the Digital Representation Resource Editor, General Information tab scroll down to the Thumbnail section. There you can upload an entirely new file to use as a thumbnail or select thumbnail from files.

5. Selecting a thumbnail from files opens up a pane where you can choose which file thumbnail to use.

6. Click the radio button of the thumbnail desired, and then click Select in the upper right. This closes out the pane.

7. Click save in the upper right of the Digital Representation Resource Editor and the selected thumbnail show now appear in Primo.
