dcterms:creator Name in reverse order. Use LCSH name entry if available. For example: Last, First M., 1900-
dcterms:contributor Name in reverse order. Use LCSH name entry if available. For example: Last, First M., 1900-
dcterms:date Only need one. Usually duplicate dates and one has a zeroed out time. Delete zeroed out time.

dcterms:description This can be used as an alternate location for an abstract if necessary. Otherwise a bit of a wastebasket field and should only be used if no other field is appropriate.​​​​

dcterms:spatial Prefer geographic names according to LCSH. Primo won't link them to the LCSH entry but they will show up next to each other in the catalog allowing users to collocate records.
dcterms:spatial (dcterms:Point) See DCMI. This field is for mathematical spatial information according to the DCMI Point Encoding Scheme.
dcterms:subject uncontrolled vocabulary. Other controlled vocabularies would be preferred as opposed to just dropping in keywords.
dcterms:subject (dcterms:LCSH) Must use LCSH and is formatted using the double dash separator. Subject -- Topical subheading -- Geographic subheading -- Chronological subheading -- Genre subheading.
dcterms:temporal See DCMI. Prefer time period names according to LCSH. This is a text based description of a time period, for example: Middle Ages, Edwardian Period, Ming Dynasty, 19th century. 
dcterms:temporal (dcterms:Period) This is a numeric date, or range of dates. This can be used in conjunction with dcterms:temporal. For example: dcterms:temporal Ming dynasty; and dcterms:temporal (dcterms:Period) 1368-1644; or dcterms:temporal 19th century; and dcterms:temporal (dcterms:Period) 1800-1899.
