Accessing the Climate Change Consortium Community

Directions on how to locate and access the Climate Change Consortium's organization in Brightspace.

Instructions

1. For those users with "@maine.edu" email accounts

   1. Please login to your mycampus portal
   2. Select the "Brightspace" Icon in the "Launchpad" widget on the top left of the screen. 
   3. The Brightspace icon is an orange letter "B", select this to be taken to Brightspace's home page.
   4. There are two options for locating and enrolling in the course.

      1. Option 1

         1. Select "Discover" from the main navbar at the top of Brightspace
         2. Enter "Climate Change Consortium" in the search box and submit the search.

      2. Option 2

         1. Select the following link to access the  Climate Change Consortium Community

2. If you do not have an "@maine.edu" email account

   1. Contact DRAFT EMAIL HERE to request an account

   2. Select this link to access the local login page to Brightspace

   3. Use the login provided to you (typically your personal email address) and use the "forgot your password" to reset your password to your preference for secure access.

   4. Revisit this link to access the local login page to Brightspace and enter your new login credentials.

   5. There are two options for locating and enrolling in the course.

      1. Option 1

         1. Select "Discover" from the main navbar at the top of Brightspace
         2. Enter "Climate Change Consortium" in the search box and submit the search.

      2. Option 2

         1. Select the following link to access the  Climate Change Consortium Community

 IMPORTANT - TAKE THE MEMBER PROFILE SURVEY.

Be sure to select "Tools" from the navbar and then select "Surveys" then select and complete the "Member Profile Survey."

This is necessary to allow for matching your interests to the correct discussion communities.
