How departments or users can purchase Adobe CC products. (UMF)

This article is intended to provide instructions for UMF Staff and Faculty on how to purchase Adobe Creative Cloud products. 

Instructions

Any individual with budget authority can contact the Help Desk (help@maine.edu or call 778-7300) to put in a ticket to begin the process of gaining Adobe Creative Cloud products. Then an electronic IDT between the purchasing department and Derek Husson's area needs to be executed. Please specify app(s) or suite, confirm the price and verify if device-based or user based in the IDT and enter the link to the IDT in the ticket.

Once the IDT is complete, Derek Husson will place the order with Adobe for the appropriate VIP account (We have one for staff/faculty and another for labs- see LastPass account.) and a notice will be sent to help@maine.edu creating another ticket that if a single order should be merged into the customer's order if possible.

The anniversary date for UMF's labs is Sept 5th and staff/fac accounts is December 9th and Derek Husson will renew on our behalf. He will also send the "inventory" for review and confirmation, before the ultimate expiry of 30 days later.
