Cisco Unity Voicemail - How to Change Your PIN

In this article we will go over how to change your voicemail PIN using either the web portal or a phone call.

Instructions

Web Portal

1. Access the Cisco Unity Web Portal and login with your @maine.edu username and password. Do not put @maine.edu. If you are off-campus, you will need to be connected to Viscosity to access the web portal.

2. Once you have loaded in, please click on Settings.

   1. This will open in a new window or tab. If you do not see anything, check your pop-up blocker!

3. On the top navigation menu, click Passwords, then click Change PIN.

4. Enter your new PIN twice.

5. Click Save.

Phone

1. Push the voicemail button on your Cisco IP Phone OR call your local campus number:

   • UM - 207-581-3101

   • UMA - 207-621-3201

   • UMF - 207-778-7001

   • UMFK - 207-834-8600

   • UMM - 207-255-1440

   • UMPI - 207-768-9701

   • USM - 207-780-4501

2. Enter your current PIN then press # (pound).

   • If you lost or do not know your current PIN, please try to change it via the web portal instructions above.

1. Press 4 to enter Setup Options.

2. Press 3 to enter Preferences.

3. Press 1 to Change Your Pin.

4. Enter your new PIN followed by #.

5. Enter your new PIN a 2nd time followed by #.

6. You should hear a message stating that you have successful changed your PIN.
