Cisco Unity Voicemail - How to Edit a Phone Menu Greeting

This article will explain how to edit the voice recording on a phone menu, or phone tree, in Cisco Unity. 

Please note this is for a not fully released product! The planned go live is Summer 2022.

Instructions

  1. Dial 207-834-8601. Do not push the messages button!
  2. When Cisco Unity answers, input your personal 10 digit mailbox number, then #. Example: 2078347818#
    Note: This is YOUR extension, not the extension for the phone menu.
  3. Input your PIN, then press #. Example: 1234#
  4. It will then ask you to enter the id of the call handler you want to change, enter the 10 digit number for the Phone Menu, then press #. Example: 2078347525#
  5. Listen to the prompts and re-record the standard greeting.
