This article explains the bulk subscriber management process for Listserv list owners. 

Detailed Information

Listserv's Web Portal can be dound here: Listserv Web Portal, lists.maine.edu

  • Log into the Listserv Web Portal. This server is not tied into the UMS single-sign-on process. <<enter link to article>>
  • From the landing page enter the name of the list you wish to manage into the Access Unlisted Lists search field.
  • When your list appears select Subscriber Reports from the left column.
  • You can perform a number of operations from the Subscriber Reports page:
    • Add single subscribers

    • Download a CSV file of all list subscribers
    • Delete subscribers using the subscriber table
    • Open the Bulk Operations window

Bulk Operations

  • Click the Bulk Operations link on the Subscriber Reports page.
  • You are presented with four choices:
    • Add the imported addresses to the list
    • Replace current subscribers with the imported addresses
    • Remove the imported addresses from the list
    • Remove the imported addresses from 
all lists (NEVER USE)

Downloading List Subscribers

You should maintain an archive of your list membership. Listserv 17.0 allows you to easily download CSV file of all list subscribers.

  • From the Subscriber report page set the Report Format to CSV Format.
  • Click update.
  • The CSV file will be downloaded to your usual download location.
  • This file can be opened and saved in Excel. It will include email addresses, names (if entered), mail style, mail status, restrictions and the subscription date.
