This article is intended to provide a step by step guide for installation, and troubleshoot common installation issues with the TransAct System Enterprise client.

Installation
INFO: Local administrator rights on your PC is required to run this installation file. If you do not have administrative rights, please contact the US:IT Help Desk. Sodexo staff will need to contact Sodexo IT instead of the US:IT Help Desk.
- Download the TransAct setup file located here;
- TransAct 4.1.2 Setup
- If you receive a message from Google Drive stating "Detected issues with your download", press the "Download anyway button".

- If you are using the Edge browser, you will receive an error when downloading, stating "TransAct.exe isn't commonly downloaded..." To continue, click the "..." to the right, and click "Keep"

- After clicking "Keep", you may receive another error stating "Make sure you trust TransAct.exe before you open it". Click the "Show More" option, and choose "Keep anyway"


- Once downloaded, run the file and follow the prompts to continue.
- If you receive the windows pop up "Windows protected your PC", click "More Info", and then "Run anyway" (Example below)

- After the setup is complete, you will see a new icon on your desktop called TransAct
