Receiving a Fax in GMail

Through the Fax over IP (FoIP) service, incoming fax numbers may be configured to deliver faxes to a GMail address, either for an individual or a group. 

Instructions

  1. If you have a FoIP account that delivers faxes to GMail you will see a message similar to the following:
    • Email with subject of Fax Received from CSID: University of Maine - Pages received: 4
  2. This email will contain the fax in PDF format as an attachment.  You will also see a preview of the first page of the fax in the email body.
