Configure Firefox to open popups as new tabs

Popup windows in web applications can disrupt some people's workflows and generally be a bad experience. If the user has FireFox, they can configure it to open a new tab instead of a popup.

Instructions

  1. Open a new tab and go to about:config
  2. search for the option "browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction"
  3. click the edit  button and change it to 0
