Microsoft Office on MacOS prompts with Updates Required, but Updates fail to install

Microsoft Office prompts that updates are required, but after checking for updates with the Microsoft Office Updater, the updates fail to install. 

Detailed Information  

If the version of Microsoft Word installed is below 16.80, then the error is because Office 2019 is no longer supported and will fail to update. 

Solution

1. Open the UMS Application Catalog
2. Search for Office
3. Click to install Office 2021
4. After install completes, restart your computer
