Wirelessly Connect to Classroom Projectors with ScreenBeam (UMF)

This article will show you how to connect wirelessly in a UMF classroom using ScreenBeam technology.

Instructions

  1. Ensure that the wall controller input is set to "Wireless" or "ScreenBeam" in the classroom.

Connecting with MacOS

2. Select the control panel at the top of the screen.

3. Select the option to "Screen Mirror" in the control panel menu.

4. Select the classroom that you are using.

5. Ensure that your sound output is the same as your connected classroom by selecting the control panel at the top of the screen, selecting the "Sound" setting, and then selecting your connected room.

6. To disconnect, open the control panel, select the "Screen Mirror" option, and selecting your current

2. Open the Action Center in the bottom right corner of the screen, expand the quick settings, and select "Connect". Alternatively, simultaneously holding down the Windows logo key (⊞) and K key to open the "Connect" menu.

3. Select the appropriate classroom.

4. To disconnect, select the "Disconnect" option on the banner at the top of the screen.

Connecting with Windows 11

2. Simultaneously hold down the Windows logo key (⊞) and K key to open the "Cast" menu.

3. Select the appropriate classroom.

4. To disconnect, open the "Cast" menu on the right of the tool bar, and select "Disconnect" in the lower right corner of the menu.
