Automatic Windows 11 Update for GCC High Users (UM ASCC)

Warning: Windows 10 devices will no longer receive security updates after October 14, 2025. GCC-High devices will need to be updated before this date. This update may take 1-4 hours.

Instructions

  1. Log in to your GCC-High device
  2. Open the Company Portal app from the Start Menu. If unavailable, locate the Microsoft Store app on your pc. Search for Company Portal on the store app and download it.
  3. Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner to open Settings
  4. Click "Sync" to update your device's management status
  5. Return to Company Portal's main menu
  6. Locate and select "Windows 11 Upgrade (User Mode)" in the Company Portal main menu
  7. Click "Install"
    • Note: The installation may fail on the first attempt. If so:
    • Close Company Portal
    • Reopen and try the installation again
  8. The Windows 11 Download Assistant will begin running in the background. This may take over an hour, depending on your device's performance
  9. When the download has finished, you will receive a pop-up that your device will restart shortly
  10. Save all work and close any open programs to prevent data loss
  11. Your device will automatically restart and begin the installation process
    • This can take an additional thirty minutes to one hour
