Warning: Windows 10 devices will no longer receive security updates after October 14, 2025. GCC-High devices will need to be updated before this date. This update may take 1-4 hours.
Instructions
- Log in to your GCC-High device
- Open the Company Portal app from the Start Menu. If unavailable, locate the Microsoft Store app on your pc. Search for Company Portal on the store app and download it.
- Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner to open Settings
- Click "Sync" to update your device's management status
- Return to Company Portal's main menu
- Locate and select "Windows 11 Upgrade (User Mode)" in the Company Portal main menu
- Click "Install"
- Note: The installation may fail on the first attempt. If so:
- Close Company Portal
- Reopen and try the installation again
- The Windows 11 Download Assistant will begin running in the background. This may take over an hour, depending on your device's performance
- When the download has finished, you will receive a pop-up that your device will restart shortly
- Save all work and close any open programs to prevent data loss
- Your device will automatically restart and begin the installation process
- This can take an additional thirty minutes to one hour
