Remote Access to Specialized Software

Students learning remotely or otherwise off-campus may need software they would typically access using the UMS computer labs. 

Solution 

• Access using UMS Remote Labs
  • UMS Remote Access machines have the same software load as the computer labs they are from.

It is recommended that students do not access Microsoft Office, Unity3D, AutoDesk, Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep, or SAS using UMS Remote Labs. Instead, they should make use of alternative solutions for installation on personal devices or cloud access that are available, see below.
