How to Check Your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Eligibility and Enrollment Status

To determine if you are eligible to enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you can check your status through the MFA Manager.

Instructions

1. Go to the MFA Manager: accounts.maine.edu/mfa
2. Log in using your UMS username and password.
3. Review the status message on the page:
   • Enroll button appears: You are eligible for MFA but have not yet enrolled. Follow the MFA enrollment instructions to complete the setup.
   • Ineligible or not eligible message appears: You are currently not eligible for MFA. If you are required to have MFA but are not currently eligible, please submit this form: MFA Add/Enroll Request
