What is Logitech Scribe?
Logitech Scribe is a whiteboard camera that shares physical whiteboard content into Zoom Meetings, making it easy for remote participants to see what is written in real time.
What You Need
- A Zoom Room with Logitech Scribe installed.
- A Logitech Tap or Logitech Tap Internet Protocol (IP) Touch Controller connected to the Zoom Room.
- A whiteboard within view of Scribe, usually mounted on the wall.
Using Logitech Scribe During a Zoom Meeting
- Start or Join a Zoom Meeting
- Use the Touch Controller (Logitech Tap).
- Tap "Start" or "Join" on your scheduled meeting.
- Share the Whiteboard View (Scribe)
- On the Touch Controller:
- Tap "Share Content".
- Select "Whiteboard Camera", "Logitech Scribe", or "Camera".
- The whiteboard view from Scribe is now shared into the Zoom meeting.
- Write on the Whiteboard
- Write on the physical whiteboard as usual.
- Scribe will automatically:
- Enhance marker lines.
- Remove the presenter's body, if enabled.
- Present a clear digital image of the whiteboard to remote participants.
- Stop Sharing
- On the Touch Controller:
- Tap "Stop Sharing" when you are done using the whiteboard.
Tips for Best Results
- Use dark, dry-erase markers for best visibility.
- Avoid glossy or glass whiteboards.
- Stay out of the frame if presenter removal is not enabled.
- Make sure lighting is adequate.
