All videos upload to or created in Kaltura are captioned automatically by machine. The quality and accuracy of such captions varies widely depending on many factors such as audio quality, speaker accent and subject matter. Automatic captions do not meet the requirements for disability accessibility for a person who is deaf or hard of hearing. For such cases "professional captioning" is available. For more information, contact your campus Disability Services office or coordinator. There may be a charge to the video owner's department for professional captioning.
