How do I download my Kaltura Videos

Download Kaltura videos through Kaltura or Brightspace access.

Instructions

Download through Kaltura direct access

1. Sign in to your mycampus portal (SSO) at mycampus.maine.edu
2. On the right side of the page, Click the shortcut icon for Kaltura in the Lauchpad drop down.
   • This will open up your Kaltura in a new tab. 
3. In the upper right click your name to open a drop down menu
4. Click My Media from the drop down
5. Click the on the Title of the Kaltura video you want to download
   • This opens the video for watching and other options
6. Scroll down to see the tabs for Details, Download and Share
7. Click the Download tab
   • This will show the Name, Size and Action that can be taken
8. Under the action box click the Download icon to start download of the Kaltura video
9. The video will begin download to your downloads folder.
10. Open your downloads folder to find the Kaltura video saved

Download through Brightspace media access

1. Sign in to your mycampus portal (SSO) at mycampus.maine.edu
2. On the right side of the page, Click the shortcut icon for Brightspace in the Lauchpad drop down
   • Brightspace will open in a new tab
3. In the upper left click My Media to open your Kaltura videos
4. Click the on the Title of the Kaltura video you want to download
   • This opens the video for watching and other options
5. Scroll down to see the tabs for Details, Download and Share
6. Click the Download tab
   • This will show the Name, Size and Action that can be taken
7. Under the action box click the Download icon to start download of the Kaltura video
8. The video will begin download to your downloads folder.
9. Open your downloads folder to find the Kaltura video saved
