Cannot login to Mac after changing UMS ID password

You may encounter an error when logging into your UMS-managed Mac after you change your UMS ID password.  This problem occurs because your Mac still has your OLD password.

Solution

  1. Try logging into your Mac with your PREVIOUS UMS ID password
  2. If successful:
    1. If you are prompted to login to "NOMAD" enter your NEW UMS ID password.
    2. If prompted, click "sync" to synchronize your UMS ID password wit the locally cached password.
