MaineStreet Portal Decommissioning - Functional Staff Update

The University of Maine System has historically used the PeopleSoft portal for functions such as:         

• Accessing PeopleSoft HR, Financials and Campus Solutions PROD environments
• Accessing PeopleSoft TEST environments (HR, FN, CS)
• Checking application status or paying deposits (Applicants/Admitted Students)
• Searching for Classes, Distance Learning or Transfer Course Equivalencies via Guest link access to Campus Solutions

WHAT is happening?

• As part of the Repaving MaineStreet project a decision has been made to retire the MaineStreet Portal. This article provides summary information you need to know about this project.

WHEN is it happening?

• The MaineStreet Portal will no longer be available as of May 31, 2023

Here are the key changes:

NEW LANDING PAGE

All access to mainestreet.maine.edu and peportal.maine.edu will be now directed to this new landing page:

This temporary page will allow users to access previous functionality, as well as maintain legacy links from various sources:

1.  Applicants and Admitted Students will be directed to Classic Student Center page to check their status and pay their deposit.
2.  Quick links for Class Search, Distance Learning Class Search, and Transfer Course Equivalences for public guest access.
3. To access PeopleSoft Financials, HR, or Campus Solutions PROD or TEST environments, please use the MyCampus.maine.edu Portal. 

MyCampus ENHANCEMENTS

1.  The MaineStreet LaunchPad icon is going away.   
   
    
2.  The MaineStreet dropdown will still allow access to Campus Solutions.
   
    
3.  New LaunchPad icons will be added for HR and Financials.
    
4.  A new dropdown menu for (MaineStreet - Test Databases) will allow access to PeopleSoft environments.
