Who is a Power BI Consumer?
Do you need to view reports and dashboards to obtain data relevant to your job? Do you sometimes advise others on the types of data to display in reports? You may be a Power BI Consumer. The way you interact with Power BI depends on your job role. Consumers do not write reports, create dashboards on reports, or create or edit datasets. As a consumer, you're the person who receives dashboards and reports from designers who create them. Also, you work in the online version of Power BI (called Power BI service) reviewing and interacting with this data to make business decisions.
How can I view Power BI reports?
Some reports are publicly available and the report is linked on the public website. Private or restricted reports are usually shared privately with you. If you have received the link, it will direct you to the report location, such as Power BI Service (powerbi.com):. Make sure you log in with UMS Single Sign On (SSO).
