I cannot view a Power BI report.
Please make sure you signed in with UMS credentials (Single Sign On). UMS users get a Microsoft Fabric (free) license automatically the very first time, and are able to access the Power BI report instantly. However, some users are asked to enter their work phone numbers. The phone number will be used for authentication purposes only.
If this is NOT your first time using Power BI, the permission and security of the report may not be set up correctly. Please contact the report author about your error.
Do I need a Power BI Pro license?
Not everyone will need to purchase a Pro license to use Power BI. Please read this Power BI License information page to help you decide if a Pro license is right for you.
How do I get a Power BI Pro license?
Once you've determined that you indeed need a Pro license, fill out this Pro License Request Form to request one.
How do I create a Power BI HUB SharePoint Library?
If you are a report creator and have a Pro license, you can request a library on the Power BI HUB SharePoint site. Please use this SharePoint Library Request form to request a new library. How do I get a Power BI Workspace in Power BI Service?
Implementing a shared workspace in Power BI Service will greatly benefit your department. You can use this Power BI Workspace Creation Request Form to request a new workspace. You will need a Pro License to publish your reports to the shared workspace in Power BI Service.
Is there a request process available for Power BI Premium space?

How do I manage security in my Workspace and App?

When do I use Workspaces, and when should I create a Workspace App?
In general, Workspaces are best for small teams collaborating closely, while Apps suit large teams or broad content distribution. Please read our Power BI Workspaces & Apps page for more information.
Can we put student-level data in the Power BI HUB site on SharePoint?
Yes. We have an agreement with Microsoft, using the same guidelines that we have with Google, to protect FERPA and HIPAA data. The agreements have been reviewed by both our Information Security Office and the UMS General Counsel.
