Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is a cloud-based identity and access management service provided by Microsoft. It enables employees to access external resources such as Microsoft 365, the Azure portal, and thousands of other SaaS applications. Azure AD provides single sign-on, multifactor authentication (utilizing Duo), and conditional access to guard against cybersecurity attacks.

End users do not access AAD directly. Admins can access it via https://portal.azure.com or https://admin.microsoft.com
Service requests should be directed to the System Administrator group.
