Brightspace - Entering Student Preview Mode (faculty)

An overview of using a "Preview Learner" in a course for design review by faculty.

 

Solution / Instructions / Details  (choose one of these terms and delete the others)

  1. Click on "Class List" in the course nav bar under "course resources."

  2. Locate "Preview Learner" and click on the pull-down menu and select "Impersonate."

  3. You will see a confirmation screen, click "yes."  Then you will be "impersonating your course as "Preview Learner" (noted in the top right corner) and can test work flows as a student.

  4. Select "Preview Learner" in the top right corner and click the "X" to exit "impersonation."
