If you have any concerns about the email you received with the subject "You are eligible to enroll in UMS Multi-factor Authentication."

We are sending out a message inviting customers to enroll in MFA.  

Here is the current content of the message:

The University of Maine System is now rolling out Multi-factor Authentication, provided to UMS by Duo Security. Utilizing Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) will allow members of the University communities to better protect the intellectual property and personal information of faculty, staff, students and other digital assets of our campuses.

UMS Information Technology invites you to enroll in MFA.

To learn about what is required to enroll your account in MFA, please visit the MFA section of our IT Knowledgebase.

To begin the enrollment process, please visit accounts.maine.edu and select the "Manage multi-factor authentication" link. Once there you will be prompted to enroll your smart device.
