Scheduling a Zoom Room from Your Brightspace Course

Zoom Rooms is a specialized Operating System for dedicated room systems.

NOTE: Zoom Rooms is a Pilot Deployment with limited room availability.  These rooms are only to be booked and scheduled for approved courses and events with trained staff.
  • Pilot Deployments:
    • USM Payson-Smith 44 for Fall 23 Term (4 courses)

Instructions for Booking a Zoom Room in Brightspace

  1. In Brightspace navigate to the Zoom Integration Link for your class. If one does not exist add one for your course by navigating to a content module and selecting "Existing Activities" then "External Learning Tools" then "Zoom" from the pull down menu.
  2. In the "Zoom" content item select "schedule new meeting"
  3. Select the Zoom Room you wish to book into your course meeting session via the "Zoom room" entry field selector box on the form.
  4. Select desired meeting settings and "save" the meeting schedule.
