Scope: this article will cover the Process for Coding Online Modality at the Sub-Plan Level.
Purpose: This article supplies detailed documentation on the process to code online modality at the sub-plan level.
Detailed Information
- From the Foundation Tables menu select the Academic Sub-Plan Table

- Navigate to the Academic Sub-Plan Table and perform a search.

You will need to complete at least one of the following elements:
- Academic Institution
- Academic Program
- Description
- Short Description
- Academic Group
It may be easiest to search by Institution. This requires you to enter the five-digit Academic institution code (e.g., UMS06 for University of Southern Maine).

This will list all plans assigned to your institution:

- Navigate to the additional Attributes Tab (Last Tab) or clicking Additional Attributes link at the bottom of the screen.

- Select the plus sign to add a row for the attribute and then select Academic Subplan Modality as the attribute.

- Then Select the Academic Program Modality Attribute from the drop down

- Select the magnifying glass icon to open the prompt for Academic Program Modality in order to select the value that aligns with your program (e.g., Blended, Online).

- From the displayed list of modality options select the correct modaility for the subplan.

- Once you selected the value click return.
- Once you have made your choices, be sure to click save.
