INFO: Duo is updating its certificate authority (CA) bundle on February 2, 2026. Most users will not notice any changes if their mobile operating system and Duo Mobile app are up to date.
Supported Operating Systems and App Requirements
Duo Mobile should update automatically via the iOS App Store or Google Play Store on supported mobile operating system versions.
- iOS (iPhone/iPad): Duo Mobile is supported on iOS 16 and later.
- Android: Duo Mobile is supported on Android 11 and later.
WARNING: Support for Android 11 and iOS 16 will end in April 2026. Devices on unsupported versions will not be able to update Duo Mobile to the latest version.
If Duo Mobile is not updated to version 4.85.0 or later before February 2, you may no longer receive Duo Push or Verified Duo Push login requests and you may be unable to complete Duo Mobile based endpoint trust verification when accessing applications. You will still be able to open Duo Mobile and generate passcodes for Duo protected apps and third party services.
