Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Manager

Description

The Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Manager allows users to view, add, update, or remove MFA methods associated with their University of Maine System (UMS) account. This self-service tool helps ensure the security of UMS services by enabling users to maintain up-to-date authentication information.

The MFA Manager includes the following tabs:

  • Status: View current MFA method(s) and enrollment status
  • Backup Codes: Generate and manage one-time use codes in case other methods are unavailable
  • Code Generating Token: Associate a code generating token with your user account

Required Information

  • UMS ID and password
  • Access to an existing registered MFA device or method for login
