Description
This service offering allows eligible University of Maine System faculty, staff, and departments to purchase additional cloud storage beyond their standard allocated limit. Storage is available for both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 platforms, billed annually in 1TB increments, and charged back to your department via Chartfield.
Pricing
Storage is purchased in 1TB increments at the following annual rates:
- Microsoft (OneDrive / SharePoint): $432 per 1TB, per year
- Google (Google Drive / Google Shared Drive): $173 per 1TB, per year
Required Information
The following information is required when submitting this request. Please do not include any sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, student/employee IDs, passwords, or dates of birth. If such information is needed, IT staff will contact you directly.
- Platform: The storage platform you are requesting additional storage for (Google or Microsoft)
- Storage Amount: The amount of additional storage needed, in 1TB increments
- Chartfield String: A valid departmental Chartfield string for billing purposes
- Justification: A brief explanation of why additional storage is needed
