Access to Course/Enroll in class (student)

A student is not enrolled in a Brightspace course and needs access.

Solution

  1. The learner will need to contact the Student Records Office for their campus. 

  2. Once they are properly enrolled in the class, this will automatically update their Brightspace content within 20 minutes (*as long as the course has been made active by the instructor). 

  3. The same applies to dropping a course- once it has occurred in MaineStreet, the student should be dropped in Brightspace within 20 minutes. If the problem persists, escalate the ticket to SDS Team.

    *Not all instructors use Brightspace. Requests for Help Desk staff to make courses available should be made from instructors.
