How to find your Computer's hostname on Windows or MacOS.
Instructions
For Windows Computer
Click on the Start button.
In search box type "cmd" and press Enter.
In the black background window that appears, type "hostname" and press Enter.
Your computer hostname will be displayed on the next line.
For MacOS
Open a Terminal window. You can find it under launchpad or you can use Spotlight Search.
Type in "hostname" and hit the Return key.
Your Mac's hostname is on the first line.
