You may have noticed very slow speeds while using macOS. To fix this issue, you will need to make sure you have the latest macOS Monterey and Microsoft Defender updates.

Update macOS Monterey
WARNING: Do not update to macOS Ventura. This update has not yet been approved by IT. For more information, see:
Should I upgrade my Mac OS when prompted? To find Updates to the latest version of macOS Monteray, if available, select "See more..." under the Ventura Upgrade.
Update Microsoft Defender
- Open the UMS Application Catalog by clicking the icon in Applications or Launchpad or searching with Spotlight Search.
- Use the search bar in the upper left corner to search for Microsoft Defender.
- Install the available Microsoft Defender update.
