University staff or faculty may have a printer near them that they regularly use for printer or use advanced features on a printer that requires the model-specific. In these cases, they can install the optional direct print queue for the printer using the Print Deploy client.
On Windows, the UMS-FindMe queue driver already supports:
- color or grayscale*
- requires that you release the job at a color printer for color printing
- duplex or single sided
- paper size selection
- Paper tray selection
- stapling**
- stapling is not available on Versalink printers
- hole punch
On macOS, the UMS-FindMe queue already supports:

- requires that you release the job at a color printer for color printing

Although for users that require advanced printing features beyond these, an optional direct print queue is available for install.
