How to Check Your Duo MFA Eligibility

1. Go to the MFA Manager.
2. Sign in with your University of Maine System (UMS) username and password.
3. Check the message on the page:
   • Enroll button appears: You are eligible for Duo MFA but have not yet enrolled. Follow the Duo MFA enrollment instructions to complete setup.
   • Ineligible or not eligible message appears: See "If the Enroll Button Doesn't Appear" below.

If the Enroll Button Doesn't Appear

• If you believe you should be eligible for Duo MFA based on the groups listed above, submit the MFA Add Request form.
• If you are not eligible for Duo MFA and don't expect to be, but you still want or need MFA, see Get Started with Microsoft Authenticator to set up Microsoft Entra MFA instead.
